Fall Save The Dates at TMO

It is an exciting time in Taos this September and TMO is thrilled to be in the middle of all the activity. The big news is The Kongos will perform a free concert on Taos Plaza on Thursday, September 25. This group is known for the song “Come With Me Now” and kudos to Dawn Richardson of Taos Solar MusicFestival for booking one of the hottest young musical acts.

This concert is a kick off to the Taos Fall Arts Festival which starts on September 26. This year the festival begins with the Paseo which will transform the streets into a one day only outdoor art exhibition that will feature experimental, performance and installation artists from around the world.

The Taos art community has worked hard to make this year’s festival one that will be enjoyed by locals and visitors. Thank you to everyone for your hard work!

Once again we will host a couple of evenings where you can enjoy a glass of wine, relax, and try on some of our fun fall fashions! Be sure to save September 10 and September 24 as your special shopping nights! We will have special deals on those evenings as well as gift with purchase. Stop in and see what is new this season.

Hats off to our own Annie Stewart – aka Banjo Billy – who is hosting the Taos Inn’s Monday Night Old Time Medicine Show with Kate Mann. Banjo Billy and her group – The Pot Creek String Band – can be heard every Saturday at The Farmer’s Market. Banjo Billy is very talented (even though she still doesn’t know how to play the theme from “Deliverance” or “The Beverly Hillbillies”) and what she does play will keep your toes tapping.

AND REMEMBER: We Open at 8 A.M. Saturday for The Farmers Market!
