We have been in our new combined location for 3 months and it has been a whirlwind time for us! We love being on the Taos Plaza – it is the heart of the community and we are so happy to be here.
If you haven’t been to the plaza this summer you must check it out. There are some great events happening here such as Taos Plaza Live on Thursday evenings. This live music event continues to entertain and is the place to relax, dance and enjoy Taos.
The Farmer’s Market – with the vendors, our local musicians (including our own Annie Stewart aka Banjo Billy ) — is the place to be on Saturday mornings. The atmosphere is like a small town reunion – folks are busy catching up with old friends and neighbors. The activity even attracts visitors who get a ‘taste’ of what makes Taos unique.
The County continues its work to make the Old County Courthouse a major attraction with events in the historic mural room. There have been several plays and musical events held there, and the Taos Entrepreneurial Network hosts its monthly meeting in the room. Personally, I think the best thing about this building is that it is the home to the jail scene in “Easy Rider” – you can walk in and take your own picture behind bars! (this may not be that funny for some….)
The Town has been great about caring for the historic area and a big thanks needs to go out to the crew who waters the plants daily and keeps the overall area clean.
We hope to see you soon!
When visiting the plaza or TMO we want you to have a wonderful experience. Making a positive experience happen in TMO is due to our great team of employees. This crew has been amazing during our transition and settling into our new digs. Their hard work, extra hours, elbow grease and support make this shop successful. Please read our staff section on our new website and you will learn about what makes this team click.
Events are important to us and we hope you will join us for the following:
