May 9 is International Migratory Bird Day and the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument is hosting several guided hikes to celebrate! On May 9, meet at the Rio Grande Gorge Visitor Center in Pilar for a 2 hour birding walk with Ryan Besser at 6:30 am and again at 9am. Walks will focus on bird identification and behavior.
